Beginning Long Island Jewish World was founded in Great Neck, NY and first printed in 1976 by Jerrome Wm. Lippman. Mr. Lippman continues to be the publisher/editor of the newspaper. The publications are among the largest independently owned and operated Jewish weeklies in the United States. The weekly circulation of Long Island Jewish World is 25,000 copies. Content The editorial content of Long Island Jewish World is a mix of social and political nature commonly featuring open letters, op-eds and submissions from some of the top names in journalism and politics, locally and abroad.
